Live @ Joyce’s

Here are some clips of Russ and I playing at Joyce’s cafe in Scranton last month. The first is a mashup of tunes followed by a clip of “Ants Marching” by the Dave Matthews Band and the next two are two of our originals–both of which can be downloaded on iTunes ūüôā

ICYMI: New Original: “Ordinary”

This is the first original from my long-planned, never developed album.

This song was written by my partner and best bud, Russ Esken.

We debuted it this summer at the Blind Tiger Pub.

It will be the first recorded track from our forthcoming album and hope to have it available for download by the end of the year (more to come on that soon).

But here is the first look: Ordinary

Clips From Cape Cod

A couple weeks ago, one of my greatest friends and former bandmate, Rob Warren, asked me to open for him at his album release party.

Rob, a musician in the Cape Cod area, tapped some amazing local talent to make “Feelin’ Good.” It’s a toe-tapping, get-stuck-in-your-head great album. Check out his website to find out how to get a copy.

Below is some clips from my section of the night including “Home” by Phillip Phillips, “What Would You Say?” by the Dave Matthews Band, “Royals” by Lorde, and “Sexy And I Know It” by LMFAO.

Meanwhile, my summer calendar is filling up. Assuming the weather improves it’s going to be a great one!

Happy 2014

There is a lot of exciting things happening this year. My summer show calendar is already filling up for the summer–but most notably, I’ll be getting married in early fall!

Some 2014 dates have been posted, with a few coming up in the winter months (so far). I’ll be at the Mad Moose BBQ Friday, February 28th, followed by the Blind Tiger Saturday, March 15th.

Here are some highlights from 2013 that I found starting with my “Queen Bee” and best man, Russ Esken rocking “Royals” by Lorde New Year’s Eve with Les Fowler shredding on a half-working guitar, followed by a little CCR clip at Uncle Tony’s from the summer.

December Dates Added!

After a month off, I’m happy to announce a few dates to close out 2013!

First, this Friday I’ll be returning to Abel’s Pub¬†on the West Side of Binghamton at 9 p.m.

Friday, December 27th cure your post-Christmas hangover at the Blind Tiger Pub… I’ll be there 8-11 p.m.

And, I’m truly excited to announce a scaled down Blue Shadow reunion for New Year’s Eve in Scranton.

Some of my best friends and extremely talented musicians, Les Fowler and Russ Esken, will join me for a set at Poor Richard’s Pub. The pub, made famous by The Office¬†is going to be a great time and has a great crowd from what I hear. We’ll be playing from 7:30 to 9:30 and will be followed by a DJ to dance (and bowl) into the new year!
